Brianna Guntz of The Loyola Phoenix interviews Alicia Spradley and two unhoused recipients of Plate & Pathways' services. They share the importance of dignity and warm meals while homeless as well as their desire to "pass it forward" after receiving help.
Alicia also dives deeper into the rationale behind providing fresh, nutritious meals (versus canned goods) and providing nutrition education classes that teach community members about cooking basics, fast-food dupes, and ways to stretch their groceries further.
